This week in WordPress
Smells like community spirit π΅
It's a challenging time for everyone at the moment. But when times are hard, there's no better community to be a part of than the WordPress one.
WordPress businesses and freelancers have come out in force this week to offer help, discounts, or freebies to the wider community π₯° Without further ado, here are some of the amazing offers of help we've spotted...
And there's more where that came from. Make sure you check out this comprehensive list put together by Brian Krogsgard on Post Status.
For many of us, the transition to working remotely will be a new experience - and one that can be quite challenging.
Cory Miller of Post Status conducted a live Q&A webinar with Dr. Sherry Walling on how to take care of your mental health in uncertain times. You can watch the recording here.
Practical advice has also been shared by Alex Denning from Ellipsis. "A lot of people are suddenly working remotely. We're fully remote, so I wanted to go beyond working-from-home tips and share some of our processes. This post is about our remote co-working day, which is our really effective way of collaborating. Enjoy! https://getellipsis.com/blog/remote-co-working-day/" tweets Alex.

In their official announcement, the team shared that it'll be in the same venue (Super Bock Arena). It may feel like a long time to wait, but it's great to see plans being set for the future.
If you can't wait that long for your dose of WordPress community goodness, David Bisset has put together https://mycamp.rocks/ - a compendium of WordCamps and WordPress meetups that are meeting virtually π.
And if you fancy a trip down WordCamp memory lane, Sabrina Zeidan has started a fun challenge on Twitter. Share a photo memory of a different WordCamp every day for five days, challenging another member of the community to do so at the same time πΈ. Join in and make sure you use #WPTogether!
